Holiday Inn & Suites Mckinney - N Allen, An Ihg Hotel, McKinney

The hotel had a kitchenette and included breakfast, an indoor pool, and jacuzzi, which was appealing. It was clean overall, but there was a stale smell upon arrival and during the night. The location was excellent, close to various restaurants and right off the highway, although it could get noisy during apparent happy hours. The service was mostly helpful, but the staff knocking on the door early every morning was a bit intrusive. The dining experience had a mistake with payment initially, and the restaurant was closed one night due to staff shortages. Facilities were good overall.

My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were in such dreadful condition and were cold, yet surprisingly very clean and modern. The service was a standout with the staff being exceptionally friendly and accommodating, making the stay awesome. The location was great, surrounded by various dining options and right off the highway, although the in-restaurant service was not friendly. The dining experience was good, but unfortunately, the restaurant was closed on the night of my arrival. Overall, the hotel offered a comfortable stay with some drawbacks.
